Refueling is very important if an airplane need to stay in the air longer and this has been done for many years, however, how efficient this process is can make a difference.  Lockheed Martin has stated that they are working on a new concept that of a wing-body tanker aircraft for refueling fighter jets such as the F-22 and the F-35. This concept was displayed at the AIAA SciTech forum. Wind-tunnel testing has already started by Lockheed martin on a much smaller model to test for more aerodynamic solutions, also engineers are using this data for the actual design of the Hybrid Wing Body (HWB). Data is also going to be used for a potential tanker program with a similar body design. Airbus Helicopter are well known around the world well at least for people that are in the aerospace industry. They are the US affiliate and the largest helicopter manufacturer in the world. They market and sell the broadest range of civil and Para public helicopters offered in the U.S. they are the most cost effective which is a key to their development and their market strategies. I mean They recently announced that they are going to be exhibiting the most efficient helicopters especially for air medical transport solutions. This exhibit will be at the Charlette convention center in N.C. the date of this convention is Dec 13 through Dec 15. This convention will be very interesting and informing. On display they will have an H135 series aircraft that will be operated by STST MedEvac. There will also be an H130 High performance single engine helicopter operated by Jet stat. Garmin International Inc finally granted the installation approval for all their newest “all in one” ADS-B transponder that can be equipped in helicopters. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has granted Garmin with the Supplemental Type Certification which for the installation of both transponders. The GTX 345/335 transponders are the models Garmin has been successful in adding to the (FAA) Approved Model List (AML) which is of part of 27 helicopters.
